Mid-Towne IGA was established in January of 1984, and since that time, has expanded and upgraded its facility on numerous occations.  Boasting more than 30,000 square feet, the store is now one of the largest independent grocery stores in the greater St. Louis area.  This allows us to offer the selection and amenities of the big chain stores, but maintain the great customer service you would expect from a small town, community-oriented grocery store.

Mid-Towne IGA is owned and operated by Roy Kohrs, his daughter Julie Dampier , and his son, Scott Kohrs.  As a "Hometown Proud" supermarket, we are deeply committed to being more than just a great grocery store; striving everyday to make a positive difference in our community.  Smiling faces, personal service, years of listening and building trust with our customers are among Mid-Towne IGA's ingredients for success.
